Curly Hair

I LOVE my naturally curly hair. It makes me unique in my family. So, last weekend I was hanging out with my nieces and nephew during Priesthood session for "pizza and movie" night. My sister's oldest girl asked me the cutest question. "Aunt Zanne, I like your curly hair. Why do you curl it everyday?" "My hair doesn't go straight like yours." She gave me a perplexed look. "God made my hair curly instead of straight. After I wash my hair, it dries curly." "Wow," she said. My niece, who is in kindergarten this year, got her hair curled for her school pictures. Really cute btw. She has recently learned the process of turning straight hair into curly hair. it never occured to her that some people have it naturally. Made me smile.
