Motherload of Pics!

Me - moments after giving birth and seeing the baby for the first time.

Baby getting cleaned up.

Proud grandparents - they showed up just in time to watch him get his first bath.

Daddy and baby.

We found a way to get all three of us into the shot.

Most of the family came to visit Tuesday night. My grandparents came to see the baby Wednesday.

His Aunt BBug came Wednesday afternoon as we were getting ready to be checked out of the hospital. She stuck around and helped us load up and take the baby home. Thanks!

The view from the recovery room - why do guys always take pics of that? - you can see our old apartment from our room.

Putting him in the carseat woke him up enough that he was finally willing to eat, so this is before we put him in for real and adjusted it all and passed inspection. The nurses kept telling me to feed him, and every hour I tried that day, but he just wanted to sleep. He had had a full feeding in the wee hours of the morning. The mean night nurse wouldn't keep him in the nursery because he "needed to eat." Really? Did he tell you that? Because he is telling ME he needs to sleep! The wonderful day nurse took him to the nursery so I could finally sleep from 7:30-9:30am.

Yay! He's finally awake enough to eat - right before checking out and going home.

Baby with Grammy today, right before she packed up and left. She ended up changing her flight twice and staying nearly two weeks. This way she could help out and cook for us the first two days home. Check out his facial expression - cracks me up!

Klari's older sister here. I'm in town for the next couple of weeks and would love to meet the little guy in person, but of course if you are not up to visitors I completely understand. If you do think you might be up to it, would you email me? (corneliaphilosophene@gmail.com)

(He is very handsome.)
(And you don't look bad yourself. Wow.)

Yay! I don't think all the great pics discourage me to come and see him myself! He is just darling! You're looking great too. Keep the pictures coming. :)
